v169 - July 27, 2026 Update

Release 169 includes support for ACH payments through 4D PAY, a new merge field for the patient's next appointment provider, and the ability to tax anesthesia fees on quotes, along with a number of bug fixes across Money, Clinical, and Scheduling.

Release Highlights

4D PAY Now Process ACH Payments

4D PAY can now accept and process ACH payments from patients. Once your 4D PAY integration has been configured to accept ACH Payments the Receipts page will be updated with a dropdown allowing you to view the status of incoming ACH payments. ACH Payments can be enabled by going to Practice > Settings > Integrations > 4D PAY.

The Daily Close and Close Reports have also been updated to separate ACH Savings and ACH Checking.

New Merge Field: Next Appointment Provider

A new merge field for Next Appointment Provider has been added to the Patient Fields insert menu in Practice > Charting > Forms Library. This merge field can be added to templates to automatically display the provider on the patient's next appointment.

Anesthesia Fees on Quotes are now Taxable

Anesthesia Groups can now be configured to automatically calculate taxes on Quotes. The tax rate for each Anesthesia group can be configured by going to Practice > Settings > Quotes > Anesthesia Groups.
