v168 - July 8, 2026 Update

Release 168 includes multiple-merchant support for 4D Pay, improvements to the Payment Requests page, the option to display patient DOB and age on appointments, and a new setting to text patients when they receive an email, along with a number of bug fixes across 4D Pay, chart notes, and mobile.

Release Highlights

Multiple-Merchant Support for 4D Pay

4D Pay now supports multiple merchant accounts per practice, allowing payments to be routed to the correct account based on location. For assistance configuring multiple merchant accounts, please contact 4D EMR Support.

Improvements to Payment Requests Page

Based on client feedback the Money > Payment Requests page has received improvements including filtering, color coding based on status, and a cleaner layout. This feature is available to practices using 4D Pay and 360 Payments.

Include DOB and Age on Appointments and Appointment List Report

The Appointment List report and appointment screen can now display the patient's date of birth and age. Enable this under Practice > Settings > Schedule > Schedule Settings.

The Appointment List Report will also display the DOB and Age in the Appointment Description when this setting is enabled.

Option to Also Text a Patient when Sending an Email

A new option allows a text message to be sent to the patient whenever an email is sent to them, so they're aware a new email is waiting in their inbox. This setting can be set from Practice > Settings > Patient Communications.
