Clearing Browser Cache – Chrome
On a Windows PC or Mac
- Open Chrome
- Copy chrome://settings/clearBrowserData and paste into the address bar
- Uncheck everything but “Cached Images and Files”
- Click “Clear Data”
- Close and relaunch your Browser
On an iPad or iPhone
- Open Chrome
- Tap the … at the top right corner
- Select “Clear Browsing Data”
- Check “Cached Images and Files”
- Tap “Clear Browsing Data”
- Close and relaunch your Browser
Clearing Browser Cache – Safari
On a Mac using iOS Ventura (released Oct. 2022)
- Open Safari
- Click on Settings then click Advanced Tab
- Check “Show Develop Menu”
- In the New Develop Menu displayed at the top of the screen click “Empty Caches”
- Close and relaunch your Safari
On a Mac using iOS Monterey or Older
- Open Safari
- Click on Safari > Preferences > Advanced
- Check “Show Develop Menu”
- In the Menu click Develop
- Click Empty Caches
- Close and relaunch Safari
On an iPad or iPhone
Note: Clearing your cache on an iPad or iPhone will also delete the browsing history and cookies and may affect other devices using the same iCloud account.
- Open the Settings app
- Swipe down to find Safari
- Click ‘Clear History and Website Data’
- Close and relaunch Safari
