Clearing Browser Cache – Chrome

On a Windows PC or Mac

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Copy chrome://settings/clearBrowserData and paste into the address bar
  3. Uncheck everything but “Cached Images and Files”
  4. Click “Clear Data”
  5. Close and relaunch your Browser

On an iPad or iPhone

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Tap the … at the top right corner
  3. Select “Clear Browsing Data”
  4. Check “Cached Images and Files”
  5. Tap “Clear Browsing Data”
  6. Close and relaunch your Browser

 

Clearing Browser Cache – Safari

On a Mac using iOS Ventura (released Oct. 2022)

  1. Open Safari
  2. Click on Settings then click Advanced Tab
  3. Check “Show Develop Menu”
  4. In the New Develop Menu displayed at the top of the screen click “Empty Caches”
  5. Close and relaunch your Safari

On a Mac using iOS Monterey or Older

  1. Open Safari
  2. Click on Safari > Preferences > Advanced
  3. Check “Show Develop Menu”
  4. In the Menu click Develop
  5. Click Empty Caches
  6. Close and relaunch Safari

On an iPad or iPhone

Note: Clearing your cache on an iPad or iPhone will also delete the browsing history and cookies and may affect other devices using the same iCloud account.

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Swipe down to find Safari
  3. Click ‘Clear History and Website Data’
  4. Close and relaunch Safari
