Save/Move Community Templates to Local Forms Library

The 4D EMR Community Library contains free templates available to your practice. Templates in the Community Library come from a variety of sources such as 4D EMR clients, employees, or public free-access libraries. 

Importing Community Templates

4D EMR Community Templates are available in the Practice > Charting > Forms Library.  In order to use a Community Template it must be imported into your database.

To Import Community Templates into your database:

  1. Go to Practice > Charting > Forms Library
  2. Click on the Open icon in the Community Section of the File Toolbar to view the consents and forms available in the Community.
  3. Open the consent or form to be imported.
  4. Click on Save As and save the form to the desired folder in your database.

Contributing Template to the Community Library

If you have a Template you would like to contribute to the Community Library please follow these steps to submit it. 

  1. Go to Practice > Charting > Forms Library
  2. Open the Template
  3. Remove any copyrighted and patient information from the template and save any changes.
  4. Click on the Contirbute Button in the File Toolbar
  5. Fill out the Submission Form and click Submit
